They were standing next to one of Meryl’s most recent projects.

“don’t TOUCH it. it is a prototype for a locomotion system.”

“Do you mean a vehicle?”

“yeah, a vehicle, dude, call it what you want.”

“Fascinating. Does it have a name?”

“it’s not even finished! i’ve ran across some problems in the engine. it keeps turning off for no reason.”

The rabbit’s eyes shone with awe. That was really cool.

“Still, this is really impressive. You’re quite a talented fellow, my fellow!”

Huh, that was actually kind of cool of his part. No one had ever complimented one of their inventions. I mean, not there was SOMEONE around to do that, but still…

“he, thank you. this is merely a minor setback. once it’s finished, this thing will be grandiose!”
