Hello there!
And so it’s the end of August. It is weird. I remember, as a kid, to feel like August was the longest month of the year. It is funny how my only basis for time measurement was the date Teacher would write in the white board every morning.
I miss school.
Unlike last month, I’d say August was rather quiet, so there isn’t a lot to be said. Still, let’s do it anyway!
First things first, I’d like to highlight things I forgot to adress in last month’s blog entry. It is the natural consequence to let yourself to write an entire blog post in the last few hours of the deadline (and still be able to delay it), so let’s do it.
Some time ago (which feels like ages to be honest), pretty much at the beginning of this website lifespan, I came across this amazing website, Wizard’s Wagon. Their artwork and sophisticated writing really impressed me. I was trying to find cool people online to talk to, so I sent Wiz an e-mail. Turns out they were actually as cool as I imagined, and we’ve been exchanging conversations since then. They’re cool, really intelligent and a extremely talented artist and animator.
In celebration of our 50th e-mail exchange, we made cute drawings for each other. Here’s theirs.

Hehe Faygo.
Isn’t wonderful how Internet has enabled us to connect with so many amazing people, in a way you wouldn’t even dream to otherwise? I think it is, indeed, really wonderful.
Ah, the power of instant comunnication.
Please, go check Wiz’s cool website. You won’t regret it.
With that said, I’d like to adress the NEW ALBUM’s current state. It is going pretty well! I am already halfway through the whole thing; we’re far past the “cancelled project” possibility. With how many songs there are, it’s not a matter of “if” I’m gonna finish it. I WILL finish it.
(I’m putting a song here for you to listen. Shhh! It is a secret to everybody!)
The songs left are most complex ones, though. I’d like to finish it all by the end of the month. Then there will be some things to set up before the big release. I’m confident you guys are gonna like it! So let’s keep waiting, a little more time, now.
It would be no surprise the fact that I’m a big Star Wars nerd.
It’s hard to remember a time where I wasn’t obsessed with Star Wars. My first contact with it got to be through the PS2 LEGO games (insanely good, by the way). So me and my dad, who was always interest in watching the movies, watched all of them together. I was 10 years old at the time. To this day, we still talk endlessly about the saga, and watch the original six movies (plus Rogue One) has became an annual tradition or ours.
But I’m not here to talk about any of that, though.
I want to talk about Andor.
Because holy SHIT.
WHAT A GOOD SHOW.
I don’t think I would be able to properly articulate how masterfully written, directed, scored and acted this show is (mostly due to my struggles with good syntax writing), so instead I’ll just say that: GO WATCH IT. It is just THIS good. Not only as a Star Wars media, but as it’s own thing. You won’t regret it.
If you’re still not convinced, just listen to this insanity of a good music. The moment the drums kicked in, my jaw dropped, and I knew it was gonna be one of the best shows I’ve ever watched.
In my most recent acquirements, I should highlight a work whose creator I hold in big admiration. I just bought Cressida Cowell’s new series’s first book, Which Way to Anywhere. In case you don’t know who she is, you probably won’t know about a small, obscure franchise named How to Train Your Dragon.
Cressida Cowell was the writer of the 12 Books Long Epic How to Train Your Dragon, my favourite franchise of all time. Her writing is elegant yet hillarious at the same time. It is as smart as it is dumb, and as silly as it is powerful. To this today, I hold her work deeply as one of my biggest inspirations in everthing I do. (You know how I always use so much paragraphs to highlight sentences? That’s totally because of Cowell’s writing, it is just burned in my mind).
Damn, until two years ago I used to re-read the books once a year.
I’m liking this new series of her. It is completely different from her usual, fantastical stuff, as it is a more sci-fi thing. I didn’t finish it, though, so I’ll let to make a review once I do it.
If you like HTTYD, please give the books a shot. Lot of people drop it after the first book because they think it’s gonna be as epic as the first movie. That is not the case. The first book is just… well, the first, of a 12 LONG BOOK SERIES. Later on, specially in the last 5 books, it escalates to some insanely deep level of light fantasy, with dark themes such as war, genocide and slavery.
Wait a minute, is it a book for kids? Hell yeah, I wouldn’t say so.
As I said, August wasn’t as exciting.
Outside of online life… I’m putting glasses in a few weeks. For the past year or so I’ve been noticing my sight keeps getting worst when it comes to seeing things at distance. It sucks to read, and even more to recognize faces (it had already put me on one or two embarassing situations when, while trying to recognize a person face, I would just weirdly stare a stranger for too long). I’m kinda excited, not gonna lie. I always thought glasses looked so cool! I’m thinking about experiment a bit more with fashion as a whole. The good side of getting a job is to be able to pay for your own stuff, as dumb as it might be (see previous entry).
Hey, remember the MOTHER review? Oh, yeah, yeah, me too.
It is coming out tomorrow, right?
Right???
… yet again, no. I’m really, really sorry, guys. Truth is, I didn’t touch it for the entire month. I should probably take out that stupid iframe until I actually post it. But it IS coming out, I promise. To give credit to my assertment, here is a very cute drawing, made by friend taqbanana.

She’s been making all these lovely artworks to decorate the review. So let’s wait a little more, just a little more. Once again, sorry for it.
To not let you guys empty handed, I wrote this very cool Piyo Piyo tutorial, the first of my Writings. It is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, but was always postponing for lazyness. I’ve been using Piyo Piyo to compose the soundtrack for my game, so I tought it would be cool to write this little guide, as there’s absolutely no documentation of it online. I hope this serves a ] good read for you.
And with September comes the rainy days. Ah, I can’t wait for it! It is already raining a little. It sucks to wake up to work, though TmT.
Thank you so much for reading! I wish you a lovely month, and see ya! ^^
