LIMINALIA

Meryl the Mole was excited.

“now let’s see…”

And Meryl opened the book, passing by innumerous pages full of diagrams, blueprints of crazy machinery projects, and endless paragraphs on the most fantastical things one could ever conceive. There were all the inventions you could imagine, from laundry machines to automatons. Most of them, as history would attest, never made it out of the paper, but it didn’t make it more impressive they existed in the first place, even if just in the realm of abstracta.

Who knows? Maybe, had Time and Fate allowed it, all these ideas could have come to fruition.

They would never know for sure.

Mr. Rabbit gasped with visible astonishment.

“For the Graces! So much knowledge amidst these pages. One could lost themselves for days, months, years!”

Meryl looked as astonished as her companion, their glasses shining with a dreamy glow.

“which sure would be awesome, but sadly we don’t have this much time. i have this strange feeling we should be in a hurry…”

Max shrived. He was glad he wasn’t the only one.

“I feel that too.”
