THE BOY

At first, nothing happened. Some minutes passed, and Max was almost knocking again. How in Earth someone could've heard such silently knock?

Suddenly, a massive BLAST was heard from inside the house. Followed by a sound of hundreds of gears moving, as if a enormous machine was turning on.

The next sequence of events happened so fast Max didn't even have the chance to scream out of horror.

"IDENTIFY"

During the whole scene, Mr. Rabbit was quiet. He didn't appear to be shocked, or, like Max right there, ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED, in more scientific terms.
Actually, he was laughing.

"Cut the scene, Maryl, your old snake! It is me, the only person crazy enough to visit you!"

"INVALID RESPONSE. AUTO-DESTRUCTION SEQUENCE ACTIVATED. 10, 9, 8, 7..."

"WHAT?!? AUTO-DESTRUCTION?!?!?! WE'RE GOING TO DIE!! TRHEE TIMES IN A SINGLE NIGHT!!!"

"Now, c'mon, Maryl, you're scarying the boy!"

"5, 4, 3..."

"I- I mean, they wouldn't..."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
