“We are now traversing what I think must be the Town’s Entry Hall. Here, travellers from all around the world came and settled their stays.”
“Once the Doors opened, a long day to the Knights would begin. They were assigned with the important duty of assuring the safety not only of the Kingdom, but also of its visitors. Surely a hard work, but so regarding! Imagine, Max, to get yourself lost amidst so many different people, from diferent worlds, each one of them with a unique story! Each one of them with their very own adventures and misadventures. So much to tell, so much to listen! What a wonderful time, it must have been.”
Max agreed politely, despite not finding the idea of big, lousy crowds very appealing. He was a timid boy, in a way that bordered what some could describe as complete introspection. He wasn’t, however, SOCIALLY INNEPT, which is a common misunderstanding lay people tend to assume towards less talkative people. To be antisocial has nothing to do with being an introvert. You CAN be an introspective individual while STILL BE ABLE to talk and keep conversations with people normally. It is just that not everyone can afford the luxury of feeling CONFORTABLE while talking with SO MANY PEOPLE AT THE SAME TIME. And there’s no wrong in that.
Max was a boy of lesser words, sure. But, on the other side (the better side, in fact), to be more selective with who he was trustful enough to share his most sincere feelings had led him to make what he considered to be his most precious relationships ever.
Friends he would carry in his heart for the rest of his life.
And with THOSE friends he could easily talk nonstop for nights straight.
Mr. Rabbit continued to ramble, most to himself than to anyone in specific, until he suddenly stoped, eyes glowing with astonishment.
He pointed to what seemed to be a HUGE red carpet, going all its way deep into the Town alleys.
“Here! Look at the ground! It is the start of The Path of the Explorer!”
Well, at least, it was SUPPOSED to be red, and probably was, many years ago. Now, it was more what some could describe as POOPY BROWN.
