“geez, that’s weird.”

The wall was filled with other ones of similar unnerving nature.
Max felt a shiver go down his spine.
“Mr. Rabbit, what is this?”
Mr. Rabbit was as nervous as Max right now.
“Hmmm, I don’t know, Max. Let’s just remember the actual circunstances we’re into can potentialize the fear-factor of something as regular as drawings on a wall.”
“oh my, you’re right! let’s just remember as well the freaky legends surrounding the place we’re JUST into.”
“Oh MY, why don’t we remember as well AS WELL whose idea to get down here was this, to begin with! But I doubt we can remember this hard, we’re all old, after all. Graces, my memory sure fails me sometimes!”
“alright, alright! sheesh.”
They gazed the wall one last time.
The drawing gazed at them back. It was disturbing.
“What I know, Max, is that it wasn’t uncommon for kids and explorers to come down here from times to times, specially with the stories about this place. This could just be a defacement of bad taste. To scare future explorers, like us.”
“Well, it is working.”
“Don’t think too much about it, my boy. Try to focus on what’s tangible right now. There is no need to raise up your FEAR-o-METER over something we don’t even know if it’s real or not.”
“wait, do you all have -o-METERS except me? whaaaat??”
“C’mon, Meryl, which direction should we take now?”
“we’re almost getting there! next turn is… left!”
