LIMINALIA

It was the weirdest tunnel they had ever seen.

“What the… how’s this even possible?”

Meryl couldn’t even begin to process this information. Max could hear their gears cracking with frustration.

“this doesn’t make ANY SENSE! c’mon let’s enter.”

Mr. Rabbit scoffed.

“Huhhhh, NO THANKS, there is NO way we’re going down there.”

Max nervously agreed.

“I think I’ve never seen something this scary, and I’ve seen a lot of things already.”

It was true. There was absolutely NO NATURAL REASON for that tunnel to be that ugly. It seemed to be trying really hard to be AS HORRID AS POSSIBLE. We must give it the credits, though, because it was totally nailing it.

But Meryl the Mole wouldn’t let it.

“what? look, i know it looks weird, i know it looks scary, but we NEED to enter there! listen to me, there is-”

“I know there is something weird going on, Meryl, but the weirdest thing I’m preocuppied with at the moment is the fact we are LOST, and I will not risk our lives trying to understand what it seems pretty simple to me.”

“what do you mean?”

But before Mr. Rabbit could say it, Max interrupted them. He was looking up, at the middle point of the bifurcation.

“Guys, check this out.”
