LIMINALIA

And, while talking, he did invisible diagrams on the air.

“If we want to find Mr. Rabbit, we must look for the Ratman! And if we want to find the Ratman…”

He pointed to the mice on the walls.

“We must follow the Path of the Mice!”

Meryl took a moment to analyse the walls. Indeed, at closer inspection, they could attest there were a LOT of mice, drew on a line that seemed to traverse the wall’s entire length.

Their eyes shone with comprehension.

“like a path…”

But they were taken with a sudden hesitation. Was it really a good idea? Was it worth the risk? Meryl wish Mr. Rabbit was here… he was the one to take the difficult choices and they were the one to mock them.

What would Mr. Rabbit do in such situation?

“max, honey, do you still have your mustache with you?”

“Huh? Yeah, I do. It’s in my pocket.”

Confused, he puts his hands in the suit’s pocket and take a small, fake mustache he had acquired from the Shop, under Mr. Rabbit proud orientation, and gives it to Meryl.

“Here.”
