The path was slow, not only due to the fact they couldn’t see half step ahead, but also because they were freaking the HELL out.

The light of Meryl’s glasses couldn’t give form to the shadows surrounding them, such was the magic force inside the tunnel. The figures distorted in spectra, all of them giving realm to the worst possible thoughts to had in such a situation.

“M-Meryl?”

“y-yeah, max?”

“How long is this tunnel, anyway?”

“i have no idea, but i wish it was shorter than what it already is.”

Meryl wasn’t much of a fan of dark places, and Max opinions weren’t any different.
