They hadn’t walk much by the time they reached the end of the tunnel.

They were back at the Time Bifurcation. But something was different.

“look, max! there’s no thread!”

Indeed, the red string that previously went into Mr. Rato’s tunnel - the one that they DIDN’T TAKE, going instead to the HAHA YOU’RE DEAD tunnel - was absent.

“What does it means?”

“it means we’re in the past, before we took the wrong tunnel. i don’t know how long we have travelled back, but we must hurry. we have the chance to do things right.”

“Mr. Rato said we should change the… “key-frames”, is that right? How are we gonna do it?”

Unfortunately, Meryl had no idea. That stupid time wizard didn’t even give a clue.
