LIMINALIA

Before them, an enormous, scary looking mouse rose above their heads. It was trully frigthening. It’s eyes: glowing. It’s teeth: sharpened. It’s claws: deadly.

Meryl was impressed (and a little bit scared, to be honest).

“wow! this is actually really scary! hard to believe it was you the artist all the time. you sure have a knack for the artistica. have you ever considered pursuing such endeavour?”

Max had never. After all, he was just a child. But something had sparkled inside of him, after contemplating the work of his very own hands, spookly staring at his very own soul.

Huh, maybe he was actually good at SOMETHING.

With a timid smile, he said:

“Heh, thank you, Meryl. I’ll think about that. Anyway, what are we gonna do, now?

They were sure reminded of the situation’s urgency.

“oh, you’re right! we still must do one more thing.”

Picking up the Time Reel, Meryl adjusted their cape one last time.

“let’s finish this, max.”
