To with Meryl responded with shocked confusion. Dude, this is definitely the WORST TIME to burst out laughing, even for THEIR standards.

“w-what are you laughing of??”

Max didn’t know what the frick to do, so he casually joined the laugh time.

“Heh, hehe…”

Mr. Rabbit dried his tears before continuing:

“Hoho, don’t worry, Meryl, I’m not laughing at you or anything like that. It’s just that this entire situation has been so stressful, and suddenly you came up with this super emotional scene, it took me unready, that’s it.”

He hugged his good ol’ fellow, Meryl the Mole, with tenderness.
