
Max and Mr. Rabbit (well, only Mr. Rabbit, I guess) as you can probably imagine, engaged in the same course of reaction as anyone that hasn’t been exposed to any sort of crucial time information would probably react.
“m-m-m-m…”
To which Mr. Rato responded with amuse:
“Haha, come on, Mr. Rabbit, a mouse certainly isn’t the frightest thing you’ve seen today!”
But the subsequent dialogue began to blur in Meryl’s mind. Their eyes went back to the mice, standing next to Mr. Rato’s chair, and somehow coouldn’t deviate their sight from them.
Sure, they had seen mice before. Their existance wasn’t a spooky myth anymore. No, this was not the reason for their disturbance.
What WAS really disturbing was the mice’s appearance. SOMETHING about them seemed… off.
Something about them seemed… familiar.
What could it be?
And, most important… where was the first one?
